WOODS

Classical Models:

Soundboard - European spruce (Western red cedar by request)
Back and sides - Indian Rosewood (European flamed maple by request)

Flamenco models:

Back and sides - cypress (Indian rosewood by request)
Soundboard - European spruce

All models:

Neck - Spanish cedar internally reinforced by a carbon fiber bar
Bridge - Indian rosewood
Nut and saddle - cow bone
Fingerboard - ebony

 

 

FINISHES

We mainly use two kinds of finishes: shellac for French polishing and polyurethane. Depending on customer's choice, the guitar can be:

a) entirely French polished
b) finished in polyurethane with the exception of the sound board which is French polished
c) finished entirely in polyurethane

We apply polyurethane by spraying it in extremely thin coats. After the drying period each guitar is buffed
to a high gloss.

TUNERS

We use tuners by Ewald Sommer (Germany), Schaller (Germany) and Gotoh (Japan).

On Flamenco models we offer the option of traditional ebony tuning pegs.
