Luthiers

SabMar Guitars is two luthiers: Milan Sabljic and Branislav Markovic. Although both of us have extensive experience in all the stages of guitar-making, Mr. Markovic specializes in finishing, where his expertise includes everything from traditional French polishing to modern sprayed finishes. In addition to our love for all aspects of lutherie, there is another strong connection between us, and that is painting. We both hold degrees in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade and continue to actively pursue our work through regular exhibitions in Serbia and abroad.
